How to make hot red velvet drink!

What you'll need:
1 cup of milk
1 table spoon of red food colouring
1 tea spoon of sugar
3 table spoons of milk chocolate chips (you can use any type of milk chocolate)
2 table spoons of whip cream
1 tea spoon of philadelphia cream cheese
A table spoon and a tea spoon to measure
Little marshmallows to decorate the drink (optional)
&
Your favourite mug!

1. To measure how much milk you'll need, pour some milk into your mug just don't fill so you have some space to put the rest of the ingredients.

2. Pour the milk from your mug into a small sauce pan over medium heat for 3 minutes, stir occasionally.

3. Add the 3 table spoons of chocolate chips into the sauce pan then stir till the chocolates are almost melted.

4. Add 1 table spoon of red food colouring then stir.

5. Add 2 table spoons of whip cream, this could be tricky because you wouldn't be able to measure it exactly because its foam, but try! then stir.

6. Add 1 tea spoon of sugar, then stir.

7. Add 1 tea spoon of philadelphia cream cheese, and stir till the cheese is almost melted.

Pour the drink into your mug, add some whip cream on top with little marshmallows,
and ENJOY!

This is exactly what every girl should have, its a wallet for cash and coins, card holder, key chain, phone case all-in-one in a wristlet!

Your February ab plan!

I found this on tumblr the other day, sounded like an easy good plan to me! I assume that you are familiar with the 'sit-up' and 'push-up' term, just in case you're not familiar with 'planking', here is how to:
You just stay still in that position for as long as its mentioned in the calendar. You can set a timer in your phone.

Start on February before its too late, summer is 5 months away ;)

Barbie is that you?

Photographer Mariel Clayton explorers the evil and hitherto unknown side of the famous doll character. When asked why she did it, Clayton explains: ‘Because I hate Barbie. I intensely dislike the stereotype that the “ideal” female fits no current authentic female form. You can’t get to be Barbie without an ocean’s worth of peroxide, 27 plastic surgeries and a complete lack of intelligence, so it irritates me immensely that this is the toy of choice women give to their daughters to emulate. Behind the vacuous perpetual lipsticked-smile lurks the black heart of the true sociopath, just like in real life’.

Make-up magnet boards

Here's a smart way to organise all your make-up instead of lining them up on your dresser, or throwing them in a big make-up bag in a drawer. This is a much better way, it saves you more drawers and you can see all your make-up easily without having a battle in your make-up bag to look for your red lipstick.

What you need:
1) Old frame (you can decide if you want it big or small, wide or tall)
2) A metal sheet, cut it to fit the frame then glue a nice looking gift wrapping paper to it or a nice fabric to make it look better.
3) Small round magnets to stick them behind the make-up
4) Blu tack to make the magnets stick behind the make up tools, don't use glue! You might want to take some with you in your bag when you go out and you wouldn't want magnets behind each one.
5) For the brushes, you can use light plastic cups and glue them to the frame.

Dip-dye for a day

Have you noticed all the hair trends of 2011! The ombre, hair feathers, dip dyes...
I did consider hair feathers, but was demotivated to try out the dye trends just because its permanent and I know I'll get bored of it and will want to undo it, I don't want to damage my hair.

I have seen some girls dip dye their hair and it looked super cute, but if you're like me afraid of bold permanent hair dyes... colour.bug might be useful!

It comes in 3 shades: pink, purple & orange.

Kevin Murphy (hair stylist) invented this dye tool to be able to change models hair on the runway, as he thought that he couldn't just change a model's hair just because he feels like it. This tool is just like make-up, washes off in the shower. You can't sleep with it, unless you want to wake up to a dyed pillow case. You should also wear a dark top if you're putting your hair down.
and YES it works on dark hair!

Here is how you use it on light and dark hair:

New year, new birthdays

So its another year filled with birthday occasions, as adults we don't do birthday parties anymore which is just a shame, I wouldn't mind playing musical chairs lol! We don't really throw ourselves a party unless someone throws one for us. I have noticed that most of my friends including myself celebrate our birthdays in 3 very typical ways:

1) A mini celebration at 12:00am, most probably with your parents, siblings and closest friends. They'll just bring a cake and a dozen balloons and sing you the happy birthday song, then go to sleep :)

2) Gather all your closest friends and cousins and go to a restaurant for dinner.

3) The best one: a surprise party! Although not everyone would want that, not everyone has free time nowadays, unless the birthday is on a weekend.

I used to surprise my mom on her birthday when she woke up in the morning. She used to sleep early so that gave me time to blow up a lot of balloons, I throw them on her corridor then I cover up her door with A4 papers so I have a big white space and write a big 'Happy Birthday Mommy' over it. She'll need to tear it off so she could walk out of her room lol. I used to do that when I was 11/14 years old.

As much I love morning surprises, no one really did surprise me when I wake up. But I got good birthday surprises though. My friends showed up in our house a couple of birthdays, I was surprised of course thinking how their parents allowed them to go out so late at night!

Here are pictures of some ways to 'morning surprise' someone on their birthdays..

Or in the bedroom, wait for them to fall asleep and fill their room with balloons! They'll be surprised when they wake up in the morning. This could make a good morning or a night mare if one of the balloons popped in the middle of the night lol.

Ofcourse it might be a bad idea to do this kind of surprise for a person who has a job just because that person wouldn't want to be late! So why not take the party to the office?
Go to the office a little bit earlier and tie cards at the end of the balloon string with happy birthday notes from their colleagues, family and friends. The same idea could be done at home too.

The Obliteration Room

Artist Yayoi Kusama created a bright white environment back in December 2011 in Australia, and invited kids to come over for 2 weeks. The kids were given thousands of coloured stickers to stick them wherever they want. The result was beautiful, looks like a colour explosion!

This creation is part of the artist's exhibition that will run through March 2012.
