Piers Atkinson on ASOS

Piers Atkinson a name associated with hats since 2008, a collection of hats are out every season. He has dressed a number of celebrities like Anna Dello Russo, Kate Moss, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Kelis, Cate Blanchett and Paloma Faith.


Piers’s creations regularly appear in the pages of Vogue, Italian Vogue, V Magazine, Tatler and the London broadsheets. His hats are available across the globe and now some are available on ASOS.

Bubble tents

A transparent inflatable 'bubble tent' that looks more like a goldfish bowl or a giant snow globe than something you'd sleep in. With incredible panoramic views of the surroundings.

French designer Pierre Stephane Dumas said his 'BubbleTree' creations are 'unusual huts for unusual nights'.

He explained: 'Having a night under the stars or seeing the sun rise and set is not something that many people experience anymore.

'A normal tent or camper van means people miss out on these things.

'So I designed this eccentric shelter with the aim of offering an unusual experience under the stars while keeping all the comfort of a bedroom suite.

'The ceiling of the bubble has the Milky Way, guests will be able to enjoy this as well as the extraordinary light variation of the sunset and sunrise.' 

Fashionable Afternoon Tea in London

If you're into fashion this place is a must visit the next time you're in London. This place serves designer afternoon tea "Pret-a-Portea", it is inspired by the themes and colours of the fashion world, you can nibble on Louboutins, Valentino gowns, Burberry coats, Miu Miu heels... Every fashion piece. The served menu changes every 6 months to follow the changing seasons of fashion. You can now wear them and eat them!

The new Spring / Summer 2012 collection sees designers such as Dolce & Gabbana, Jason Wu and Valentino.

Pret-a-portea is served in the Caramel Room daily from 1pm to 6pm. Reservation is recommended.

If you're gonna be in London between the 29th of May till the 9th of June, then you're lucky! they are going to serve sweet treats inspired by the memorable hats worn by the Royal family, in celebration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee for £39 per person. And of course, this will include Princess Beatrice's famous fascinator.

The Panic Room

Each year Au Vieux Panier Hotel in Marsille (France) gives five of its rooms to different artists to express their creativity by having the rooms redone. This year, one of the rooms were redone by a french grafitti artist named Tilt.

Looks like there's an invincible wall dividing the room but there isn't, half is plain white while the other half was filled with bright bold graffiti.

I bet the people who booked this room slept on their right side, sleeping on the left side would make me feel as if I was homeless and sleeping on a street!

Outdoor tea party

I was planning to throw a surprise birthday party for one of my closest friends, I thought a 'tea party' would be perfect since I was planning to invite just a few friends with their mothers. We had the party outdoor, I rented a round table and placed tea cups. My dad and husband helped me decorate the place with balloons, streamers and banners. The party looked so pink!

Since its a tea party, It started early around 6:00pm. I had my friends at my place at 5:30 and went to pick up the birthday girl and brought her to the party.

I ordered a dozen cake pops from Bakerista, I asked her to write the birthday girl's name on 6 and her age (22) on the rest. I chose red velvet and vanilla.

My husband helped create a photo booth by cutting out a card board to make it look like an old polaroid picture and hung it.

I think we spent most of the party taking picture!

We got a cake that looked like a coffee mug from BreadTalk since the birthday girl loves coffee, it also matched the theme!
